About Book

Climatology, or climate science as it is frequently referred to, is the study of Earth's weather patterns and the mechanisms that produce them. This branch of science is concerned with documenting and evaluating weather patterns occurring around the world, as well as with comprehending the atmospheric factors that create them. It is occasionally mistaken with meteorology, which is the science of weather and forecasting. Climatology, on the other hand, is primarily concerned with the natural and man-made causes that impact long-term weather trends. Although this century is only a few decades old, climatology has advanced significantly throughout that period. However, since it became clear that human actions are causing environmental degradation and climate change, it has gained significant national and international attention, with the majority of government departments in the majority of countries tasked with mitigating or preparing for a climate change scenario. Numerous subfields of climatology investigate various facets of the climate. Different branches of climatology are classified differently. Applied climatologists apply their knowledge and skills to a variety of industries, including industry and agriculture.

This book elucidates the concepts and innovative models around prospective developments with respect to climatology and climate change. It aims to present a plethora of dimensions regarding global climate change to the readers like its various causes and techniques to combat that. The book sheds light on the various activities of humans causing climate change and global warming in detail.

It deals with tropical cyclone climatology, northern-central adriatic sea, synthesizing high-resolution climatological wind and predictability of atmospheric circulation. It also sheds light on stochastic forcing in climate models, climate change in the upper atmosphere and improving climate risk management at local level. As this field is emerging at a rapid pace, the contents of this book will help the readers understand the modern concepts and applications of the subject. Constant effort has been made to make the understanding of the different concept of climate change as easy and informative as possible for the readers. It will serve as a resource guide for climatologists, environmentalists, researchers, professionals and students engaged in this field.
