About Book

Electronic security is one of the cheapest prevention measures to protect business and personal assets. In simple words, electronic security protects from both external and internal theft. The generic security requirements needed in the areas of information and network security consist of the following interrelated characteristics: information availability, integrity of the information, and confidentiality of the information. Information security refers to the practice of safeguarding the information from theft, unauthorized use, modification, distortion, inspection, destruction, etc. It consists of IT security and information assurance. This book covers several security aspects with respect to information infrastructure, e-security and software standards. It focuses on multimedia security, security of software applications, modern technologies, web service security and cyber security. It examines unikernels, autonomous systems and wireless networks. This book elucidates the concepts and innovative models around prospective developments with respect to information security. The aim of this book is to provide the readers with the topics which are crucial and of utmost importance. While understanding the long-term perspectives of the topics, the book makes an effort in highlighting their impact as a modern tool for the growth of the discipline. It will serve as a valuable source of reference for those interested in this field.
